5 things nobody told you about POST PREGNANCY WEIGHT LOSS in my experience
Motherhood is a great blessing but the greatest concern after pregnancy is the WEIGHT. During pregnancy mothers prefer to eat healthy to have a healthy baby in return. Sometimes mothers like me with severe pregnancy symptoms and conditions gain unhealthy weight. Weight gain could also be the result of unhealthy or excessive eating habits. Well: whatever the reason was every woman wants to look beautiful and smart even after having dozen(lol) of children.
I gave birth to my second son in September and i gained 15 kgs unnecessarily. Moreover in spite of losing weight fast in first 6 weeks of post pregnancy.i gained more because my mother forced me to eat PANJEERI 2 times with liter milk.
But now i have started shedding my weight and my journey is smoothly going on.
According to my experience few things that nobody told me about and are very helpful to loose weight consistently after pregnancy.
BIRTH:By the time you give birth, automatically you shed few kilos without any effort. The baby, placenta and few ponds with the exhausting effort of giving birth. So make sure if you have shed few ponds then those should not come back.
BREASTFEEDING: I've read many websites where it is told that breastfeeding doesn't help in losing weight. But whether anyone accept it or not breastfeeding burn almost 500 calories per day if your baby is totally on breast milk.
Breastfeeding mother feels hungry all the time so it is easily possible to eat everything all day. But if you will eat 6 small meals or 3 big meals with snacks between. You can easily loose up to 1/2 lb per week with just better eating habits, small portion size and cutting sugar and bakery foods without any exercise. But if you does all your house chores your own self then you can loose more. KEEP FEEDING YOUR BABY AND KEEP SHEDDING.
HORMONES: Imbalance hormones when return back to their original condition also helps to lose weight. If your body is prone to gain fast then it will shed fast as well so stay calm and don't get overburdened with pressure of weight loss thoughts.
BABY'S RESPONSIBILITY: With the birth of your baby you have become a mother as well.. Unnecessary work, frequent diaper changes, baby,s colic and many more. No matter you are FTM or the second time mother, you will have the same work load so this will also help to lose but at any cost don't forget having your meals.
WALK WITH BABY: Obviously you will surely prefer to take you baby out for sunbath. Might be due to jaundice. So try your best to have at least 30 minutes walk with your baby daily.
